E T H O S

At OSIER we prioritise the wellbeing of our planet and every living being on it throughout all of our practices, from designing to sourcing, manufacturing and packaging.

Social and environmental responsibility form the very root of our brand. We’ve grown from a desire to create beautiful things that won’t harm the planet we live on or the people and animals we share this blue and green globe with.

We are always trying to do better. Acknowledging the fact that improvements can be made allows us to evolve. We won’t claim to have it all figured out, but we will promise to always be honest. We believe transparency is the key ingredient to building a conscious brand which is why we’re glad to give you an insight on our sustainability journey.

Our sustainable and ethical ambitions are divided into three focus areas: PEOPLE, PLANET and PRODUCT.

The short version of what we’re trying to do is this: creating desirable and durable products that you will love and that will last you a long time. We produce them in Europe in healthy and safe work environments, using materials that are long lasting, beautiful and eco-conscious.

Making an Impact

As we continue to grow we are committed to giving back. We’ve started the ball rolling early with The Ocean Clean Up. This inspiring non-profit organisation is based right here in the The Netherlands. They work to develop innovative and advanced technologies which combat the overwhelming levels of plastics within our oceans. Currently they are cleaning the Great Pacific Garbage Patch over in California, one of the most polluted areas of the world.

The reason we donate a percentage of our profits is because we and our customers alike all want to make a difference towards a better future. Through purchasing our bags you can reflect blissfully, knowing that you are part of this Ocean Clean Up journey!
